In 2006 she became New Zealand’s first podcast novelist, and her podcasts have won both a Parsec Award and a Sir Julius Vogel award.\nPhilippa is the author of the Books of the Order series with Ace (Geist, Spectyr, Wrayth and Harbinger), and the Shifted World series with Pyr Books (Hunter and Fox, and Kindred and Wings).\nAs a hybrid author, she has also independently published her novels, Chasing the Bard, Digital Magic, and her novel set in New Zealand, Weather Child.\nShe is also the co-author of the Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences series with Tee Morris, (Phoenix Rising, The Janus Affair, Dawn’s Early Light, and The Diamond Conspiracy). Phoenix Rising won the Airship Award for best written steampunk, and was the number eight best Science Fiction book of 2011 according to Goodreads.com. The Janus Affair was the seventh most popular science fiction book of 2012 on Goodreads.com, and won the Steampunk Chronicles Reader’s Choice Award for Best Fiction. Dawn’s Early Light won the RT Reviewer’s Choice Award for best Steampunk of 2014.\nIn non-fiction, Pip has co-written with Tee Social Media for Writers from Writer’s Digest.\nWhen not writing or podcasting, Philippa loves reading, gardening, and whenever possible traveling. With her husband Tee Morris and her daughter, she is looked after by a mighty clowder of cats in Manassas, Virginia.
